And I am not sure what you even mean about their pieces later being family heirlooms and being the keeper of important information and how that is a forgein concept. These are the pieces colletors keep and don't re-sell.
Their Mid-Century Modern lines featuring such names as Kip Stewart and Stewart McDougall, John Van Koert (Profile) and THE name in Danish Design Ed Wormley (Precendent) are horded by collectors. Drexel is one of the most sought after collectable furniture companies in the world. That, that is like the complete opposite of true. I know I just left another seller asking about some Drexel furniture, which above you say "To the companies that mass produce furniture like Drexel, their product lines are just merchandise, the idea that they will later be family heirlooms and they should be the keeper of important information regarding production is a foreign concept ~)" Lovejoy-where are you getting your information? Do you investigate what you are saying here AT ALL or just going from gut feelings because people are counting on your opinion and sellers can be losing hundreds or thousands of dollars because of one of your off handed uninvestigated comments.
After reading this comment I am afraid I just finally had to say something. I have passed over comment after comment of yours on these pages and I am really not trying to be rude but I find that the majority of your comments are at least confused at the members question and at most just incredibly incorrect and way off base.
